About Anne
"Anne cares not only about the perfect shot, but about the people in them."
Hi everyone!
First, let's say my last name out loud: it's pronounced
"mee -ent- ka."
It's a doozy (my first-generation friends can sympathize!), but I love its uniqueness!
A year ago I quit my non-profit career that I loved to pursue my dream full time. Now, I specialize in elegant senior portraits, weddings, and engagements all around New England.
I offer a unique blend of posed and candid shots that capture my clients' authentic personalities and one-of--a-kind relationships. I particularly love intimate weddings, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC couples, and sweet clients who appreciate the value in carefully-crafted photography.
I also love doing food blog photography at King Arthur Flour, and product photography locally. I was the City of Burlington's "Doing Business in Burlington Guide" photographer for the Community Economic Development Office brochure, which featured local business owners. And, to my delight, I have been featured in five local galleries!
Creating art that is impactful makes me incredibly happy. I find myself framing shots subconsciously; it's addictive and beautiful.
I live in the hill section of Burlington, VT with my partner Arlo and our rescue cat, Winifred. In my free time, I love to thrift-hunt and volunteer at local non-profits.
