With many close friends and family, Bill and Brooke tied the knot at the beautiful Barn at Smugglers Notch. It was my first wedding there, and I was AMAZED by how light, bright, and airy the venue was.
Brooke greeted me with a warm hug when I arrived. Without her hair or makeup even done yet, she looked beautiful. Brooke has an infectious smile and goofy sense of humor that created a light-hearted, joyous getting-ready scene for me to photograph. Her bridesmaids were busy steaming, pressing, and arranging dresses and flowers so that everything was just perfect. Downstairs, the guys enjoyed cocktails, cornhole, and the pleasant summer weather.
The details from the day were perfect. The blush and deep reds were timeless and elegant. The bright ballroom was framed by large chandeliers and tall windows. The day was, to me, any photographer's dream.
Brooke and Bill elected to do a first look before their ceremony, which I loved. It gave them a moment of privacy-- just the two of them-- to soak each other in before the busy festivities. The ceremony was sweet, and Brooke and Bill saw lots of teary-eyed smiles as they looked out into the rows of friends and family.
The portrait session that followed gorgeous because, well, have you SEEN Brooke and Bill? Did I hire models for the day? They were so goofy one moment, and then sweet and serene the next. It was a pleasure to photograph their unique relationship.
And the after party did NOT disappoint. The DJ played mashups that combined trendy pop songs with wedding classics in one beat. The result? EVERYONE was dancing and having a fabulous time.
Brooke and Bill, your day was MAGICAL, and I hope you love these photos as much as I do. Congratulations!
