Mall and Spens
When the sun is out, I am lucky enough to see the explosive pink sunsets over Lake Champlain from my cozy two bedroom apartment in the South End of Burlington. In the summer, the string band next door will practice outside, and I can sit on my porch and listen to them while I watch the sun dip low. I absolutely love it.
This March, when the lake had frozen over and I could see the outlines of people playing hockey near the breakwater, I knew I had to get out there with my camera. Mallory and Spenser met me out there and we *carefully* made out way out to the lighthouse.
It was an ethereal experience to say the least. The pastel sunset reflected onto the snow-dusted ice and it was some serious cotton candy magic.
Mallory and Spenser are the absolute best. They are both super empathic, and I am always struck by how emotionally aware of each other they are. They have an electric connection that's built on trust and loads of sarcastic humor. They are serious couple goals, and my personal objective l for this session was to convey just how in tune they are with each other.
Mallory and Spenser, thank you for everything! Your love was such a pleasure to capture.
