Lealoni and Chris’ Intimate Backyard Elopement

Congratulations, Lealoni and Christopher! These two eloped at their new Bakersfield, Vermont home last week, with only their good friend, Christopher’s son, and two pups in attendance.

There were so many incredible moments that evening. But my favorite was the vows. Lealoni read a beautiful letter she had written to Christopher’s son. “I promise to always be your family,” she told him. The thought and emotion behind her promise told me all I needed to know about this family. The ceremony was short and sweet, and after a tree-planting ceremony (loved this unique touch) we took a trip to the spot where Christopher proposed to take some photos to commemorate the day.

Lealoni and Christopher are giant goofballs together, which made for very fun photos. (I always think it’s funny when people warn me that they are nervous in front of the camera, and then are absolutely effortless when getting their photo taken.) I am so lucky to get the best clients ever.
